INDIANAPOLIS -- A man's body was found on Indianapolis's southwest side Thursday morning.

Police responded to a DOA call on the 2300 block of Lynhurst Drive around 7:30 a.m.

The body was found when a person coming in to work pulled into the parking lot and saw it.

Police say they don't know who the man is, how he died or where the body came from. Crime lab technicians dug through dumpsters to find any evidence on the dead man.

The owner of the company that manages the property says nearly 600 people are employed by businesses in the building, but the man doesn't fit the bill for any of them.

Police are going through security and traffic cameras for clues.

"Cameras are all over now," IMPD Commander Michael Jefferson. "Hopefully they'll be able to piece together what happened with this individual."

Homicide was called to the scene, which is protocol for DOAs.
