HENDRICKS COUNTY — The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations involving a Hendricks county coach.

“We are aware of the allegation and we have opened an investigation,” Deputy Chris Burcham said. “It is certainly too early to determine what has occurred, but we are working with our prosecutor to see if any crime occurred.”

Burcham confirmed the investigation is regarding allegations of "inappropriate communications."

North West Hendricks Schools has terminated the contract of Louie Aguilar, the Tri-West varsity volleyball coach, according to a district spokeswoman.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department has launched an investigation and all further questions should be referred to them, according to Donna Petraits, a spokesperson for North West Hendricks School Corporation.

RTV6 has been unable to reach Aguilar for comment.

He has not been criminally charged.

Football coach Tyler Bruce remains on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a separate criminal investigation involving allegations of sexual misconduct with a student.
