BOONE COUNTY, Ind. -- An 18-year-old from Kirklin, Ind. is dead after a crash involving a tow truck on Monday.
Jaden Quick, who was transported by a medical helicopter after the crash to St. Vincent Hospital, died on Friday evening.
Emergency personnel were called around 12:30 p.m. to the rural intersection at County Road 850 North and 550 East.
The Sheriff's Office said Quick did not stop at the intersection when he collided with a tow truck.
Quick is an organ donor and the Boone County Sheriff's Office says his body is being preserved.
Drugs or alcohol were not believed to be a factor in the crash.
