INDIANAPOLIS – A storefront was damaged when a vehicle crashed into a building Sunday morning on the city’s north side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the incident happened around 11 a.m. at Vacuum Authority at 1340 E. 86th Street.

The woman driver told police her flip flop got tangled with the gas pedal and it caused her car to drive into the building.

Officers said no alcohol was involved in this incident.

No one was injured and the business was closed. It appears there was no major damage to the store’s merchandise.
