CARMEL — A fountain on one of Carmel's roundabouts was damaged Sunday night after it was struck by a car.

Jim Grose, of the Carmel Police Department, said the fountain, located on West Main Street at 4th Avenue SW, was hit around 9:25 p.m. Sunday in a single-vehicle accident. The driver's information was gathered at the scene.

The Carmel Street Department is in the process of determining the damage estimate.
