INDIANAPOLIS -- The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has been voted the number one best museum for families in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice 2017 poll.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is the largest museum of its kind, sitting on 29-acres.

Kids can star in their own circus, slide down a river of chocolate, fly over the Great Wall of China or snap a selfie with a T-rex among dozens of other adventures at the museum.

The museumbroke ground on a $35 million expansion last September. The “Sports Legend Experience” will turn the northern portion of the museum’s Meridian Street property into an outdoor activity zone featuring mini-golf, pedal car race tracks and track and family fitness loops.
