FRANKLIN — Franklin police arrested two people Sunday night in connection to a shooting that killed an 18-year-old man.

Franklin Police Department chief Kirby Cochran said in a Facebook post that one suspect was arrested on charges of felony murder, robbery and other charges, while the second is in custody for assisting a criminal.

Earlier Sunday, Cochan announced Franklin police found a red 2013 Dodge Dart that is believed to have been used by the suspects.

An 18-year-old man was shot to death around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Hurricane Street in Franklin near the Boys and Girls Club of Johnson County.
