FISHERS — K-9 Harlej was killed during a manhunt for two suspects early Wednesday morning in Fishers. His death was the first line of duty death in the department's history.

The community and surrounding police and fire departments across the state have posted messages of support for the Fishers Police Department and Officer Koopman as they honor K-9 Harlej and celebrate his life.
