MUNCIE — Muncie police are investigating after two men were shot Wednesday night.
Muncie Police Department officers were called around 11 p.m. to investigate the report of shots fired and later found two men had been shot near East 5th and South Blaine streets, MPD Capt. Steve Cox said.
The men told investigators they were sitting in a vehicle near the intersection when shots were fired at the vehicle, wounding both of them, Cox said. The men drove to another location to get help.
Their conditions are unknown.
Detectives are working to follow up on information and are asking for anyone with information to call them at 765-747-4867.
