Drugs, guns and money found when seven people were arrested at a home on Indianapolis' north side

INDIANAPOLIS -- Seven people were arrested Tuesday following the execution of a narcotics search warrant on Indianapolis' north side.

The investigation by detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department focused on violence and narcotics with an emphasis on reducing and combating non-fatal shootings and homicides.

Detectives found cocaine, heroin and marijuana inside the home in the 2900 block of N. Gale St., as well as four handguns and a starter pistol that looked like a handgun. They also confiscated $5,642 in cash.

The following arrests were made:

  • Anthony Jones, 44, dealing and possession cocaine/heroin, serious violent felon in possession of a firearm, maintaining a common nuisance
  • Kenny Enoch, 26, dealing and possession cocaine/heroin, dealing marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance
  • Devonte Dycus, 21, resisting law enforcement, possession of cocaine with a firearm, visiting a common nuisance
  • John Jackson, 45, visiting a common nuisance
  • Lamont Allen, 36, dealing and possession cocaine/heroin, serious violent felon in possession of a firearm, maintaining a common nuisance
  • Melissa Easley, 39, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a syringe, visiting a common nuisance
  • Wendell Dycus, 49, visiting a common nuisance
