Hancock County deputies looking for man trying to talk to teenage girls

NEW PALESTINE — Authorities in Hancock County are looking for help identifying a man who allegedly tried to talk to teenage girls on Thursday night.

Hancock County Sheriff's Office deputies say a man was seen around 7-8 p.m. in the area of County Road 550 West trying to talk to the teenage girls, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. He was also seen putting a letter into a mailbox.

The man was described as a white man possibly in his 20s and seen driving a newer black truck, according to the release.
