INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a 38-year-old man in connection with a homicide from Oct. 12.

Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are searching for Demond Bender, 38. Bender is wanted in connection with the homicide of Philly Alexander on Oct.12. According to the probable cause affidavit, he was angry with Alexander about some synthetic marijuana Alexander had just sold him.

Witnesses heard the shooter yelling at Alexander about a blunt of "Katy" that was supposedly fake, court documents say.

Alexander was shot near the intersection of 10th and Rural streets. He was taken to a hospital, but died from his injuries.
