IMPD: Use caution when donating to causes surrounding 8-month-old Amiah Robertson

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department issued a reminder of caution to the public on Thursday evening when donating to causes - such as search parties - dealing with 8-month-old Amiah Robertson.

The IMPD also wants the public to know that they do not solicit for donations in regards to investigations or to assist in area searches.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of the 8-month-old should contact IMPD Missing Persons at 317-327-6160 or 317-327-3811 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477. Citizens can also download the mobile P3tips app for Apple or Android phones to submit a mobile tip, or go to www.CrimeTips.org to provide a web tip.

Citizens who leave tips may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to a felony arrest. Tips submitted directly and anonymously to Crime Stoppers are the only one eligible for the cash reward.
