KOKOMO — The Kokomo Police Department has arrested one person and is looking for two more in a bizarre case in which a woman was killed, and a man claims he was bound and tortured.

Thursday, KPD Capt. Tonda Cockrell announced they have arrested 31-year-old Troy Wilson and charged him with criminal confinement. Arrest warrants are out for two more suspects, Uriah Levy, 30, and Steven Allen, 28. They both will be charged with confinement and aggravated battery.

This all stems from an incident on Monday, Feb. 3, at Courtland Avenue and West King Street in Kokomo, when 25-year-old LaShay Young-Beard was found dead in the backyard of the residence by KPD.

A man inside the house was found tied up with duct tape in a bathtub. The male victim told KPD he had been confined for 11 days and had been beaten and burned with hot water.

All three suspects have a $500,000 bond.

According to investigators, Levy and Allen should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with additional information on the location of the suspects should contact Capt. Michael Banush at 765-456-7278 or KPD at 765-456-7017.
