KOKOMO — Kokomo police are looking for a person who is accused of using counterfeit $100 bills last week at three businesses.

According to information from the Kokomo Police Department, officers responded last Thursday and Friday to Walgreens locations at 3608 S. Lafountain St. and 2400 W. Sycamore St. and Soupley's Wine and Spirits at 140 N. Dixon Road after a black male allegedly made a small purchase at each business and passed a counterfeit $100 bill with the same serial number to the cashiers.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect at all three businesses, and he was seen getting into a silver vehicle with a black top that is believed to be a Chrysler 300.

Anyone with information should contact Captain Mike Banusch at 765-456-7278, the Kokomo Police Department Hotline at 765-456-7017 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
