INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people have been arrested in connection with the robbery and abduction of a 73-year-old man Tuesday morning.

At about 4 a.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Schofield Avenue for a possible home invasion and robbery.

The people in the house said multiple people, some armed, entered the house and began taking items from inside. When the suspects left, they took a man from the house, IMPD Sgt. Jim Gillespie said.

The man who was abducted was found safe at about 7 a.m.

The suspects left in the victim's Kia Soul. Police found the vehicle shortly after arriving on the scene and detained one person found there.

The home invasion and robbery does not appear to be random, Gillespie said.

"Some of the things that we have faced have been difficult for this community," Gillespie said. "This is something that's been difficult for this family right now."

Police arrested Actshiona Davis, 21 and Willard Wilson, 65. Both are preliminarily charged with kidnapping, robbery, criminal confinement and burglary.
