SPEEDWAY — Police in Speedway have located a man accused of stabbing his mother to death late Sunday evening.
Speedway Police Department officers were called to the 5400 block of White Horse Road just before 9:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing. Officers found a 58-year-old victim suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the suspect in the stabbing as the victim's son, Vinson Edge, 39. Edge was not at the scene when police arrived.
Edge is described as being 6 feet 1 inches tall and 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt.
