INDIANAPOLIS —A man was found dead on the sidewalk in a neighborhood on Indianapolis' southwest side Wednesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 500 block of North Centennial Street for a report of a person down. Arriving officers found an adult male lying on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner has identified the victim as Dejuan Burruss, 27.
The coroner says Burruss died from "gunshot wounds."
Detectives have not released any additional information about the man's death or if there are any suspects at this time.
