INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in a possible domestic situation on Indianapolis' northeast side early Saturday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 4000 block of Richelieu Road just after 1 a.m. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
That man was taken to the hospital where he later died from a gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as Billy Scott-Woodson, 27.
Detectives interviewed witnesses at the scene and believe the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic situation. The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
