KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward for information on a man who is tied to five robberies and a car-jacking in three different states.

The suspect — dubbed by investigators as the "Big Box Bandit" — has robbed three banks that are stationed inside of a Walmart, a check-cashing business stationed in another Walmart and one bank at its own establishment. In addition to the robberies, the same suspect is believed to have car-jacked a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer in West Knoxville, Tennessee.

The first robbery by the Big Box Bandit happened in Clinton, Tennessee in May, the second in Kingsport, Tennessee; in both instances, the man is seen carrying a manila envelope, in which he demanded associates to place the money in.

Investigators say the third robbery took place in Shelbyville, Indiana, the fourth in Chandler, North Carolina and the fifth in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to officials, the bandit has been seen driving a blue Ford Taurus and the stolen gold Chevrolet Trailblazer.
