INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead, another wounded in a shooting late-Monday on the Indianapolis west side.
Police were called to the intersection of West St. Clair and Belmont before 10 a.m.
A public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said a "male victim" was found dead in the street there.
The Marion County Coroner later identified the victim as Dayron Morris, 23.
A second person showed up at Methodist Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition early Tuesday.
IMPD did not release information on what led up to the shooting and other details about the case.
