One suspect may be linked to five bank robberies in central Indiana since June 11, according to FBI

INDIANAPOLIS -- The FBI is looking for a man they say may have robbed five banks in central Indiana within the past week.

The most recent robbery happened at 12:30 p.m. on June 18 at the Fifth Third Bank in the 8500 block of N. College Avenue.

On June 16, the same suspect is believed to have robbed the Forum Credit Union in the 6500 block of N. College Avenue.

A robber struck the Indiana Members Credit Union at 95 S. Mitthoeffer Rd. on June 14.

Key Bank, 100 S. Peru Street, Cicero, Indiana, was robbed on June 12.

And on June 11, the Chase Bank, in the 1800 block of S. Meridian Street was robbed.

Authorities say the suspect suggested he had a weapon but did not show it during the robberies. He also presented a note at three of the five banks

The suspect left three of the robberies on foot and got away in a silver Pontiac G5 and a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix in the other two.

He is described as 5'7" to 6'0" and weighs about 200 pounds.
