INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead following a home invasion robbery, shooting on the north side of Indianapolis early Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Edgemont Ave. just after midnight on a report of shots fired, according to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. When they arrived, they located a man who had apparent gunshot wounds.
The man later died. His identity has not been released.

Police do not have any information on a possible suspect.
