INDIANAPOLIS — A person was shot and killed on the north side of Indianapolis late Saturday.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, it happened around 11:35 p.m. Saturday at 34th Street and North Keystone Avenue.
IMPD Officer William Young said officers found the male victim deceased in the 3400 block of Brouse Avenue, just to the west of the original call scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Marion County Coroner later identified the victim as Leondra Lane, 35.
No other details about the shooting have been released.
