INDIANAPOLIS -- Police have arrested a teenager and are looking for another man in connection to an armed home invasion robbery last month on Indy's south side.

One of the victims told police that two men knocked on the door of their Nanwich Court home on Sept. 25 and, when one of the homeowners answered it, they forced their way inside and tied up the man and woman who live there.

One of the suspects hit the woman in the head, police said. They thieves took her bank card and other items before driving off in her silver Jeep, which was later covered.

The 16-year-old suspect turned himself in on Wednesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan police said. He is charged with burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of criminal confinement while armed with a deadly weapon and battery resulting in a bodily injury.

Police are still looking for the second suspect, 18-year-old Rahiam Shabazz. They have a warrant for his arrest.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
