LAWRENCE — A 55-year-old Indianapolis man is under arrest and faces charges in the murder of a man stabbed to death last Sunday.
42-year-old Devon Casey of Indianapolis was stabbed in the chest during an argument with the suspect at the Grand Reserve at Geist Apartments on Fox Road.
The suspect faces a preliminary charge of murder. He stayed at the scene after the stabbing.
Lawrence police say the victim and suspect knew each other and were at a small gathering when a disagreement broke out and Casey was stabbed one time. He was rushed to St. Vincent Hospital but did not survive.
