INDIANAPOLIS — Three people are recovering after a shooting outside an Indianapolis recording studio early Thursday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to Community Hospital North on Clear Vista after three people suffering from gunshot wounds showed up at the hospital around 1 am.

Investigators later determined that the shooting happened at Azmyth Recording Studios on East 65th Street.

Police at the scene initially said an argument started inside the studio and spilled outside where three people were shot, but Ryan Adkins, owner of Azmyth Recording says the surveillance video shows something different.

"What the surveillance footage shows is a group of seven people walking out in a calm manner after a recording session," Adkins said in a statement to RTV6. "There was no argument inside or outside the studio as previously released. The group is seen standing by their car talking for about one minute when a vehicle approached from the west and fired shots at the building."

IMPD has not released any additional information about the shooting, who was involved or where the shots are believed to have been fired from.

The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
