Two people killed in separate shootings on northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Two people died and another person was critically injured in separate shootings early Saturday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a shooting at 1:49 a.m. in the 3000 block of North Priscilla Avenue. According to a release from IMPD, officers found a male down in the street who was pronounced dead at the scene.

About an hour later at 2:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of North Shadeland Avenue where they found two males who had been shot. One of the people was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

The victims' identities have not been released.
