Woman stabbed near downtown Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was stabbed near downtown Indianapolis Monday morning.

The stabbing happened near the intersection of White River Parkway and Michigan Street. A woman told police she was stabbed, and her car was taken. 

The vehicle was found near a post office near Lucas Oil Stadium, on South Street. 

One person has been taken into custody. The woman was hospitalized in serious condition.
