GREENSBURG, Ind. -- A Greensburg man was arrested Monday on charges related to the release of confidential information while he was a dispatcher for Decatur County 911 and a registrar for Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Indiana State Police say Young Soo Sung, 33, took confidential information from electronic criminal investigative files used by the Greensburg Police Department and the Decatur County Sheriff's Department while he was a dispatcher between September to December 2017.  Sung is accused of sharing photos and information contained in those files with acquaintances.

Detectives also determined that Sung mishandled confidential information while he worked part-time at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

He was removed from both positions as a result of the allegations.

Sung was arrested on a warrant for one count of official misconduct and two counts of offenses against intellectual property.
