MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Robert Bell building at Ball State University was evacuated Monday because of a major water leak.

School officials say the building was evacuated sometime before 3 p.m. after a pipe pressurized during their annual inspection, causing a leak.

The water from that leak went from the fourth floors all the way down to the first floor.

Crews will continue to clean through Monday evening and the building and classes should be able to resume sometime Tuesday, according to school officials.
