A husband and wife were killed in an early morning house fire in Muncie Saturday. Muncie's Fire Chief said the fire was first reported around 4 a.m. at a home on Muncie's southwest side in the 1200 block of W. 23rd Street.

MUNCIE, Ind. -- A husband and wife were killed in an early morning house fire in Muncie Saturday.
Muncie's Fire Chief said the fire was first reported around 4 a.m. at a home on Muncie's southwest side in the 1200 block of W. 23rd Street.
The Delaware County Coroner identified the victims as 74-year-old Don Dulaney and 74-year-old Diana Dulaney. The Coroner says smoke inhalation is the likely cause of death.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
No further details have been released about the incident. Muncie Fire Department will continue to investigate with the assistance of the State Fire Marshal.
The Dulaney's daughter said that Don and Diana met in first grade, and have been a part of each others' lives ever since.
