Muncie 19-year-old arrested after posting photo with gun and school threat on Snapchat

MUNCIE, Ind. -- A 19-year-old Muncie man has been arrested after police say he made a school shooting threat on the social media platform Snapchat. 

Police arrested Jason Becraft after someone called in a tip to police on February 15 about a threat that he posted on social media. The caller said Becraft, whose screen name was "Creepy Ahkbar," posted a photo on Snapchat that showed him holding a gun, saying "Don't go to school tomorrow."

Officers went to Becraft's home on East 1st Street and questioned him. Police say he admitted to posting the photo. 

Becraft is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon. 

Muncie Schools shared the following information with parents and say there was no specific threat toward the school at any point in time.
