MUNCIE, Ind. -- A police officer with the Muncie Police Department is on administrative leave after he was arrested on Wednesday for hitting a woman he lives with.
The Muncie Police Chief said Justin Thomas, 30, is accused of hitting a woman he was living with on the head and chest. That woman was treated at Ball Memorial Hospital.
Thomas was arrested Wednesday and charged with domestic battery. He is currently on administrative leave while the case is under investigation.
