DETROIT — The Pistons are proving to be a tough foe for the Pacers.

The teams met for the fourth time this season Friday in Detroit and the Pistons came away with a 108-101 win, giving Detroit a three-to-one advantage in the series.

Indiana trailed by 11 at the half, but outscored the Pistons 31-16 in the third quarter to take a four point lead into the final period.

Piston rebounding was the difference. Detroit held a 51-33 advantage on the boards.

T.J. Warren led Indiana with 26 points.

The Pacers are 2-2 during the current road trip which wraps up in New York, Saturday. The Knicks, who have won just four times this season, fired their coach on Friday.
