INDIANAPOLIS — A Warren Township school bus carrying children was rear-ended on I-70 Thursday morning by a suspected drunk driver.

Indiana State Police were called to the westbound lanes of I-70 near Emerson Avenue just before 10 a.m. for a report of a crash.

Metropolitan School District of Warren Township spokesperson Dennis Jarrett said there were seven high school students and three adults on the school bus at the time of the crash. The driver and all passengers were examined at the scene and two students were taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
