INDIANAPOLIS — They're too young to have witnessed the September 11 attacks, but dozens of youngsters got an unforgettable glimpse Monday at the tragedies and triumphs from that fateful day.

The "Never Forget" mobile exhibit stopped at Southport Elementary School on its way to the annual firefighters convention happening Downtown this week.

The exhibit features artifacts found at the World Trade Center following 9/11. New York City firefighters serve as tour guides. They also serve as heroes to second-grader Eli Thompson.

"Their sacrifice they did for those people in fires, it makes people kind of sad because they risked their lives to help other people," Eli said.

Eli is actually the reason the exhibit visited his school. He won a drawing at the firefighters convention last eyar. As for this year, the exhibit will be on display at Lucas Oil Stadium. It will be open to convention ticket holders on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
