WHITING, Ind. – A new water park is set to open in Northern Indiana next weekend.

The WhoaZone at Whihala Beach in Whiting, Indiana will be Lake Michigan’s newest floating water park. A large inflatable obstacle course set near the beach will feature trampolines, slides, monkey bars and more.

Set to open June 24, the park will also offer other attractions like stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, beach cabanas and more. The WhoaZone will operate through September 4 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. seven days a week.

Guests can take advantage of the concession stands available on site or bring their own food to the beach.

Prices vary upon session and cost $20 per hour, per person. Each session lasts one hour and includes a 15-minute safety orientation. All water park participants must sign a waiver and know how to swim.
