INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosiers now know who will decide whether Attorney General Curtis Hill should be punished for professional misconduct.

The Indiana Supreme Court has appointed former Justice Myra Selby to hear the allegations that Attorney General Curtis Hill groped a state lawmaker and three legislative staffers at a bar last year.

As the first woman and African American, Selby served on the State Supreme Court from 1995 until 1999.

The court also rejected a motion from Hill's attorneys opposing the appointment of a hearing officer.

Hill says the misconduct charges should be dismissed since a special prosecutor declined to pursue criminal charges in the case.
