INDIANAPOLIS — Michele and Danny Englehardt ended the decade with a family of four and started off the new year as a family of five!

Francisican Health Indianapolis welcomed Jonah Englehardt as the first baby born in 2020 at 5:14 a.m. on January 1.

Francisican Health Indianapolis welcomed Jonah Englehardt as their first baby born in 2020 at 5:14 a.m. on January 1. He weighed 9 pounds and 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. He's the first son of Michele and Danny and has two big sisters waiting for him at home.

The couple will receive a gift basket for having the first New Year Day baby born at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

Franciscan Health reports that more than 2,200 babies were born at their Indianapolis hospital in 2019. They've also helped deliver more than 56,000 infants since 1996, when their Women and Children's Services program was first consolidated.
