Franklin police seek robber dressed in camouflage

Police: Man pulled gun, took cash

FRANKLIN, Ind. - A robber clad in camouflage pulled a gun and held up a Franklin bank Friday.

The robbery happened just before 10 a.m. at the Main Source Bank at 597 Banta St.

The man pointed a handgun at the teller, demanded money and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The robber was described as white, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a camouflage hunting-style hat with face netting, a grayish-green pull over and tan pants.

The bank was previously held up Oct. 17. Police said they do not believe the robberies are related.
