INDIANAPOLIS — Free school supplies will be available Saturday morning for foster children and families in need in Marion County.
According to a release from Child Advocates, bags filled with school supplies can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Summercation! Free Kids Fair at 4150 N. Keystone Ave. in the Mainscape parking lot.
"The Kids Fair is an opportunity for Marion County foster children and their families to participate in a fun-filled day to close out summer vacation and prepare for back to school," the release said.
There will also be food, carnival games, prizes and face-painting at the event.
