TERRE HAUTE — The Candles Holocaust Museum announced funeral and memorial service dates and times for Eva Mozes Kor.

Kor, a Holocaust survivor who endured medical experiments by Josef Mengele, died July 4 in Krakow, Poland, a short distance from Auschwitz concentration camp where she and her twin sister, Miriam, were sent during World War II.

The museum said visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 13, and the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. July 14. Burial services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Lawn Cemetery.

There will be limited seating at the services, and the museum said Kor's family encourages the public to attend one of two memorial services instead of the funeral. One memorial service will be held in Terre Haute at Indiana State University's Tilson Music Hall at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, with another in Indianapolis at Butler University's Clowes Hall at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.

Kor's family asks that donations be made to the Candles Eva Kor Legacy Education Fund and the WFYI/Ted Green Films "Eva" Education Program."
