INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis funeral home will hold a service Friday morning to honor an unclaimed Navy veteran.
Sprowl Funeral Home, located at 1134 W. 30th St., will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday for Daniel J. Powell, who died Sept. 20. He was 67.
The funeral home said Powell does not have any remaining family members and anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
The memorial service will last from 11-to-11:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at the Marion National Cemetery.
