INDIANAPOLIS — Managed Health Services is partnering with The Villages to raise awareness of the urgent need for foster parents in Indiana.
Information sessions are being held to help prepare interested attendees in hte process of becoming foster parents.
The session will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Villages' Indianapolis office, 3833 N. Meridian St.

The child abuse and neglect rate in Indiana has nearly doubled in the past 10 years.
According to Indiana Youth Institute's "State of the Child: The Well-Being of Indiana Youth" report, Indiana is ranked 47th nationally for placing children in foster care.
