19-year-old beaten, robbed while playing basketball in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Ind. -- A 19-year-old was beaten up and robbed while playing basketball in Westfield early Wednesday morning. 

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. near the 100 block of Coatsville Drive in the Countryside Subdivision. 

The victim told police that he was playing basketball when he was beaten and robbed by two men. Police believe the victim was targeted. 

No arrests have been made in the beating. 

This is in the same neighborhood where police say three men forced their way into a home at gunpoint Monday afternoon. The three men involved in that home invasion were taken into custody.
