CARMEL, Ind. -- The human resources director for Carmel Clay Schools has been placed on administrative leave.
The HR director, Corrine Middleton, was placed on leave Tuesday, Carmel Clay Schools spokesperson Courtney Taylor said.
Superintendent Nicholas Wahl was also placed on leave this week. Wahl has been superintendent of the district for more than four years.
Taylor said Middleton was placed on administrative leave "as we review the leadership of the district."
Taylor didn't answer additional questions about Middleton's status.
Both Middleton and Wahl will continue to receive pay and benefits which is standard with administrative leave, according to Taylor.
