FISHERS, Ind. -- A 61-year-old bicyclist was hit and killed in Fishers Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to a serious crash on Brooks School Road near Broadmoor Drive just before 10 a.m.
Police say a 59-year-old woman was driving down Brooks School Road when she struck the bicyclist, later identified as Robert Lackey. The driver told police she did not see the bicyclist in time to avoid the crash.
Lackey was taken to Eskenazi Hospital where he later died.
The crash remains under investigation by the Fishers Police Department.
