Westfield - Rosalie Ogle, a resident at Welbrooke assisted living facility in Westfield, will celebrate her 100th birthday on Saturday, January 27th.

"My wife and I are just dear friends with Rosalie and look to her as our "adopted" mother," said Terry Thompson, of Anderson.

When asked what Ogle might say is her secret to a long life, Thompson said, "Most importantly, she would tell you that her secret to a long life is three things.  Living on a farm, walking ten miles per day until she was 89, and drinking black coffee which she still loves."

Ogle plans to spend the day celebrating with family and friends.
