GREENFIELD, Ind. -- More than 500 people will be laid off by DHL in Greenfield after May 4.
DHL currently manages Walmart's warehouse in Greenfield, but Walmart has made the decision to take over operations once its contract with DHL comes to an end.
511 workers will remain employed by DHL until May 4
A spokesperson for Walmart says all DHL employees currently at the facility will have the opportunity to transition to a job with Walmart.
Walmart says they are currently working through a hiring and selection process with DHL employees who work at the facility.
